Health Unit Coordinator (ICU/HUC)
provides organizational, receptionist, and support to patient care units and the health care team with managing orders in the electronic health record. Communicates effectively via a variety of modalities with patients, visitors, and facility staff and plays an integral role in communication across the continuum of care.
7 am to 1 pm / do General chat, main phone, walk family patient to the rooms. update the ADT, 1: pm to 7: 30 pm . walk patients family to the rooms.
7 am to 1 pm / walk family patient to the rooms. 1 pm to 7:30 pm. main phone update the ADT.
6 am to 6:30 pm. 2W & 2C 0/2 checks, charts check, work list. medical records sent and upload receive. help RNs with supplies equipment etc. copy and distribute the assignments. code blue cart. relief for lunch.
